This is Joss.

She’s from a story (tentatively) called The Thief. I’m exceptionally proud of this story, and can’t wait to show more of it off.

I’ve been meaning to do a portrait of her, and I wanted to try out my new brushes. I really. Really. Like these brushes. This came out super great.

Well, a few friends have drawn themselves as students at Monsters University and I wanted to, too. And since I have a lot of hair, I figured I’d be a hairy monster. She’s not in a sorority or clubs, except the art club. Probably found in the art building or library.

Megan, this is your late birthday present.

My super bros Megan and Bennett have this comic called Darkness and Dekay (which I am waiting for!) and these are some of the characters, Darkness and the Dinolich.

Just finished drawing these last night, and assembled this first run this morning. I’ll be selling these bad boys at Fanime 2013!

I actually painted this with my fingers.

I experimented with finger and hand painting in high school, and it’s one of my favorite ways to create expression semi-abstract pieces. It’s very soothing to feel the paint between my fingers.

Scanning it was a beast as I discovered my scanner cannot do color accurately. So I had to pay $7 for FedEx to scan it for me. But it came out exactly accurate.

Sorry about the dreadful watermark. I’m not good at making the ones that unobtrusive but protective. Anyway, people at Fanime can see it in all it’s un-watermarked glory!
